Mindful packages

Wildlife, hiking …and personal growth

The title doesn’t give enough space to really express what this is about. Not only are we going to travel – so we are MOVING which is change in itself – through Southafricas largest Wildlife park and other wild areas, but we will also have an amazing coach with us for parts of the way. He will join us where we spend a few days in one spot and shed light on the questions that move us:

  • Is there more to my life?

  • How do I achieve the results I would like to see in my life?

  • How can I create this new phase in my life to be enjoyable and fulfilling?

Our coach, Helmar Rudolph (who is a native german and fluent in english) will guide you through the group sessions to explore the hows and whys of life and why nobody else but we ourselves are responsible for what we are getting out of it. And why this is a liberating thought and not a scary one. You can additionally book private sessions with him.

The nitty gritty – or what we can tell you so far:

included in this 16-days-trip are:

  • all accommodations and the meals provided by those
  • guide, driver, vehicle, park entrance fees
  • coach Helmar Rudolph for group sessions on 5 days
  • some excursions which will be defined and calculated closer to your travel date and according to availability

Not included are:

  • national and international flights
  • meals other than specified on the itinerary
  • individual coaching sessions
  • Bicycle or other gear hire

This epic trip costs 3099€ per person sharing a double room, 3299€ for a single room (should the group wish to upgrade the accommodations it will get more expensive, rising accommodation and petrol prices could also change the price of this trip)

The max group size is 10 guests and the tour can only take place with a minimum of 6 guests.

Dates:

3. April to the 18. April 2024

10. October to the 25. October 2024

Our journey starts in Johannesburg and ends there as well. Depending on your arrival time, we spend the first night in Jozi or hit the road straight away and after 5 hours come to the quaint town of Tzaneen, where we sleep at a quirky accommodation. There are lots of excursions we will offer on the trip but I will not mention them here – as T.I.A. (this is Africa) and things change quickly and you might then ask me…’weren’t we supposed to do this and that?’ and my unsatisfying answer would be ‘yes, but…’. To avoid disappointment and create excitement: let us surprise you!

From Tzaneen we continue to the Kruger NP where we will see lots of Wildlife. And  the bush…the bush <3. Our accommodation in the Marloth Reserve thereafter allows for more animal sightings, before we are on the road to eSwatini, formerly kingdom of Swaziland. At Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary we spend the following three nights. Helmar joins us here.

Group sessions will take place during the day and you will have ample time to explore the park on foot or bicycle as well.

After those three days you had a lot of input that needs digestion so we travel without the coach to St.Lucia, where Hippos cross the main road in the evening and iSimangaliso awaits with herds of giraffe and more…hippos! From there to the Dolphin Coast where we will be flipping lazy – lying on the beach, eating nice food and processing what we have learnt.

For the last 3 days of this epic journey we will be in the Drakensberg Mountains and hike. Fear you not: should you not feel strong enough for 5 hours of walking, there are shorter options. Helmar joins us again for the first two days in the Mountains. The last day is reserved for the hike up the second highest waterfall of the world: Tugela Falls. If the weather has other plans – we will hike in the Golden Gate NP, which is also stunningly beautiful.
