From the day of booking we cannot pay back domestic flights and SanParks reservations as we don’t get money back from those guys.
Let's start with the fine print
We do have a cancellation policy like everybody else and other regulations too, BUT unlike everybody else we are being transparent about it. Ask us: we will answer.
We are not working with any agent – this cuts out the middleman and saves you money.
We are not an agency nor are our tours package trips (even the ones that are called packages are not in the legal sense of the word).
Every client has to sign an indemnity form and provide proof of medical travel insurance (medical aid) when signing up for their trip. This will keep you and us out of trouble.
Waste Policy
At home we try to live as low impact as possible, so why not on the road as well? No one-way packaged take aways here. Coffee-to-go? Sure, in a reusable mug. Please support us in keeping this trip as waste free as possible for example by refusing a plastic bag when shopping.

and yes: we are fully aware of that we are polluting the environment, because we travel. That's the compromise. We try and make up for this.
What is excluded
We are a tour operator, as such we cannot book your flights international or national. We can talk about everything else.
What is included
In general we provide for everything. Food, non alcoholic drinks, park entrance fees, some excursions. This is for the Camping trips - the accommodated trips have different rules: you don't have to rely on our chefing qualities. Should you want to include specials like a balloon ride over the Namibian desert or Rafting on the Zambezi River...we can talk about it.
We would prefer our clients not only to be open minded, but also not to to be fearful. Southern Africa is stunning, it takes your breath away – you can come to journey in South Africa and then in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe or Mozambique and be amazed by the differences in landscape, biomes, people, cultures. There is no space for fear in joy and love.
There is always something going on on our beloved home planet, things we cannot change – what we can influence and decide on though is our way of reacting and dealing with situations and life.
Update 2024: no virus for no and still wars on the planet. We believe, that this attitude of ours also benefits you, as it means that we are solution orientated, out-of-the-box thinking individuals that will insure you are having a sublime time.
When it comes to food we can cater for your special needs, if they are not too special ;-). You are vegan? No problem. You eat meat? Should be ok. You are having allergies to this and that and also there is this gluten intolerance….that’s where it becomes difficult for us. Not only budget wise it becomes difficult to calculate but also in terms of availability in remote areas. As long as it fits in the car you can always bring your special foods.
We try and keep it healthy. Soft drinks – not really into it. Convenience food? Na….baked beans every morning…not for us. We will have fruit for you and cereals without added sugar and milk alternatives…keeping it low on dairy…and if possible lots of fresh veggies. But: as said, talk to us, we will find a way that works for you!
This applies to the Camping trips. The accommodated trips rely on food from accommodations and restaurants as per your detailed itinerary.
Of course we can and will stop at farmstalls and shops on the way to find lekker snacks.
